Emma Bowd was born in a small, seaside town in Australia. She moved to London soon after graduating from university, where she put to rest a nomadic upbringing and spent eleven wonderful years working, travelling and discovering the vices of New Bond Street. The daughter of a book-loving millipede, she has a life-long love affair with shoes and writing.
