As a favor to his old friend, Judge Horace Wollner, Joseph Antonelli returns to the practice of law as a prosecutor in the case of a deputy D.A. accused of hiring someone to kill his wife, but his career soon becomes complicated when Wollner's wife is accused of murdering her lover.
