Strange Holiday

Brigid Heron, Assistant Matron at a girls' school, was told she could leave early for her holiday so that, on the way, she could return one of the pupils - who was being expelled - to her home. When Brigid came to know the child's strange family, her holiday became a frightening nightmare, but then she found happiness where she least expected it.
