The United Cites of Cameria is the most powerful region in the kingdom, but its affiliation with the Knights of the Prince as won it the diabolical hatred of the Dark Knight, who is determined to destroy it from within. When a young man named Rowan, whose skills in tournaments has made him the most decorated knights in Cameria, is attacked and left for dead, he realizes his true purpose in the service of the King. Rowan's eyes are opened to the Dark Knight's plot, and he becomes the only person who can stand between Cameria's governor supreme- actually the Dark Knight in disguise- and the complete destruction of Cameria.
