It was supposed to be a relaxing trip for novelist Morgan Blake. Lazy days at a mountainside bed and breakfast in the small town of Perfect, working on her novel, trying to forget about Tyler Carson, a man she can't afford to love. But when she's involved in a hit-and-run accident-she's hit a man and he's run away-her plans are put on hold. The man she hit simply mouthed one word to her- "Help." Now it's her goal to give him that help. Gavin Antoine is the town's charming mayor and he would like to help Morgan forget about Tyler. Morgan's tempted to take him up on his offer. But as she's drawn deeper into uncovering what happened to the man she's hit, she's not sure whom she can trust. One thing's for sure: Morgan won't rest until she finds some answers.
