Hannah's Highest Regard

Seventeen-year-old Hannah Atwell met Lieutenant Jake Burdock at a Fort Riley dance at the end of the Civil War. In spite their instant attraction, they are separated for long periods of time since Jake is assigned to duty at the frontier forts of western Kansas.
