She follows the scoop to the Tibetan community in exile, but is apprehended. When Maggie discovers that a group of young monks are going into Tibet to find the Dalai Lama's reincarnation, she persuades them to take her along. They locate the newly born child, and then attempt to return without alerting the Chinese.
