Born Joan Wolf in Brooklyn, New York, and she graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband. Besides writing and playing with the puppies in her spare time she likes to bake theme cakes, read, and work in her garden, which she tends to overstuff with blue, pink, and purple flowers. She also likes to solve puzzles, such as jigsaw, crossword, and cryptoquotes. She also enjoy traveling with her husband.
